Gemayel after meeting Berri: We reiterate call for a neutral Cabinet of experts

Speaker Nabih Berri received on Thursday Kataeb party leader MP Sami Gemayel in Ain el-Tineh and an accompanying delegation.

Following the meeting, Gemayel said that he reiterated to Berri the party’s suggestion of forming a neutral government of experts that would manage to the country’s huge economic and social crisis, pending a political consensus.

On another note, Gemayel said that the party submitted a bill today to cancel the seats devoted to expatriates.

“We believe that the expatriates must vote for 128 lawmakers in Lebanon and not for only six MPs," he explained.
