Parts of Lebanon go on general strike against Cabinet delay

Parts of Lebanon witnessed on Friday a general strike to express the dire need for a Cabinet to address the deteriorating economic situation of the country.

The strike was called upon by the country’s labor unions and the Sabaa party.

This as flights were suspended for one hour at the Beirut International Airport.

Also, employees at Rafic Hariri University Hospital stopped working for an hour in support to the strike.

Another strike took place at the Sidon Governmental Hospital and the Marjayoun Governmental Hospital.
