Head of “Media Focal Center” Salem Zahran said Saturday that the new government represents the regional victory, noting that the 9-month delay in forming a government was caused by Hariri’s laziness and some parties’ greed.
In a statement to LBCI’s Nharkom Said, Zahran revealed that the news that had circulated on Bahaa Hariri’s visit to Syria are not accurate and only aimed at exerting pressure of PM Saad Hariri to speech up the formation process.
He also noted that the Future Movement lost an important case in the cabinet, which is the case of the refugees, after the ministry was granted to Saleh Gharib.
On another note, Zahran revealed that Director General of General Security Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim had health problems, but has since recovered, stressing that the solution of the cabinet issue was the one shaped by Maj. Gen. Ibrahim.
