An accurate number for the Lebanese nationals residing in the United Arab Emirates is not documented, but it ranges between 100,000 and 120,000, many among them hold a second citizenship, in addition to their Lebanese one, such as Canadian, Australian or else.
In the 1950s, the Lebanese nationals started arriving in the UAE, where the British were still ruling there before the independence in 1971.
