The Maronite Bishops expressed on Wednesday relief over the formation of the new government after nine months of debates, calling it to shoulder its national duties and tackle the major challenges ahead.
In a statement issued following their monthly meeting in Bkerke under the chairmanship of Patriarch Beshara Rai, the Bishops said that new government has the national duty to make up for the losses after a delay of nine months. On a different note, the Bishops highly praised the visit of Pope Francis to the United Arab Emirates.
