UCC: Cabinet has not lived up to its promises
The Union Coordination Committee confirmed on Thursday that its “movement is independent and does not aim at twisting the arm of the state, but rather seeks the approval of the pay scale”.

Following its meeting with Environment Minister Nazem Khoury, the UCC said that “it has lived up to all the commitments it made to the cabinet while the latter has not fulfilled its promises, mainly the approval of the pay scale set for August”.
