Jumblatt : Assad’s fate to be decided by Syrian revolution
The media office of the Progressive Socialist Party confirmed on Saturday that, in a statement to a European channel, PSP leader MP Walid Jumblatt called for overthrowing Syrian President Bashar Assad using the French term “abattre”.   

The statement comes in the wake of allegations that Jumblatt had called for “slaying” Assad.    

Jumblatt pointed out that the fate of Assad is to be decided only by the Syrian revolution and the people themselves following a fair trial.
