Interior Minister: We will work on alleviating negative effects on pensions and salaries
Minister of Interior Rayya al-Hassan asserted on Tuesday that the country is going through an economic crisis, adding that everyone must make sacrifices.
The minister stressed that the ministry will work on alleviating the negative effects on pensions and salaries, adding however that the country is going through a big financial difficulties.
Al-Hassan’s comments were made during her tour on the Lebanese General Security’s headquarters in the region of Mathaf whereby she hailed the efforts deployed by the directorate, mainly Major General Abbas Ibrahi.
“The members of the General Security are the first to receive passengers upon their arrival at Beirut International Airport,” she stressed.
The minister concluded by stressing the necessity of cooperation between the Lebanese citizens and the security apparatuses at the airport.
