On his third day in Akkar, Rai says does not fear pluralism
Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai kicked off the third day of his pastoral visit to Akkar with a visit to the town of Anadat, where a crowd including official and religious figures welcomed him.

The Patriarch saluted the town and its residents, “you are not the side of the country, you are its heart, and we support you. We heard so much about this region in past days and we are still ready to discover more”, he said.

Rai noted that he does not fear pluralism of ideas and opinions, unless it causes conflicts and disputes, pointing that “Lebanon is the lung of the Arab world”.
