Speaker Nabih Berri voiced support to conducting an investigation into the Qabrchmoun incident, calling for political reconciliation to be made in order to ensure coexistence.
During a graduation ceremony, he noted that Lebanon is facing an economic danger and a permanent Israeli threat.
“What are we waiting for to reconcile and be united?” he asked.
Berri stressed that Lebanon’s stance is unified by its executive and legislative authorities, as well as its political and religious powers towards “the deal of the century.”
On another note, the speaker emphasized the need to treat the workers within the educational sector with equity, adding that the demands of the Lebanese University professors are rightful, but they must balance between their personal interests and the interests of the students and the university.
