Dar al-Fatwa: Hijri new year starts on August 31

The Dar-al-Fatwa issued on Monday a statement in which it announced that the Hijri new year will start on Saturday, August 31, 2019.

Grand Mufti of the Republic Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian congratulated the Lebanese people for the occasion, wishing peace and stability for the country.
