President Michel Aoun welcomed on Friday at Baabda Presidential Palace UN Special Envoy Jan Kubis, with whom he discussed the current situation in South Lebanon, as well as UNIFIL's activities in the southern Lebanese region after the extension of the international forces' mandate.
Kubis lauded the political and economic meeting that was held in Baabda on Monday, welcoming President Aoun's initiatives to remedy the ailing economic situation in Lebanon.
