Gemayel: Cabinet is responsible for case of Lebanese in Syrian jails

Kataeb Party's Central Committee Coordinator, MP Sami Gemayel said on Wednesday that the release of Yaacoub Chamoun, who was detained in Syrian prison, gave hope that other Lebanese in Syria will also be released, holding the cabinet responsible for their case.

During a meeting with Kataeb Party’s students, in the presence of the freed Lebanese national Yaacoub Chamoun, Gemayel stressed that the time has come for this cause to become a national cause, noting that it concerns all the Lebanese people since the detainees are from all confessions and parties.
