Cellphone explodes in the hands of its owner in Nabaa
A cellphone exploded in the hands of its owner in Beirut neighborhood of Nabaa. In detail, when 28-year-old Syrian national Ekhlas Moubi put her phone on charge, it exploded suddenly, injuring her severely. Ekhlas was immediately rushed to Beirut Governmental University Hospital.

Following investigations carried out by the ISF’s Information Division, it turned out that Ekhlas bought the phone from Rabih Mohammad Jamil who was later arrested for stealing the phone from Burj Hammoud.

Separately, as 37-year-old Ibrahim Abbas was heading to Societe Generale Bank in Khaldeh on Saturday to transfer 6,000 US Dollars, unidentified persons on a motorcycle beat him severely, stole his money and fled to an unknown destination. Choueifat’s police department launched investigations in the incident.
