Union Coordinating Committee calls for sit-in if pay scale not approved

The Union coordinating Committee called on teachers, employees and retirees to gather on Tuesday September 4, in the afternoon, outside the Ministry of Education to hold a general strike for the public sector.

The committee also called for sit-ins on Thursday September 6 in all ministries and public institutions in Beirut and all other regions and districts, as well as private and public schools and technical education institutes, in case the pay scale was not approved in the cabinet session expected to be held on Wednesday September 5.
