Bassil: Lebanon will not withstand for long if current situation persists
Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Gebran Bassil warned on Sunday that Lebanon is under threat, if current tensions persist, of being dragged into a chaos “that will not be creative but destructive.”

Bassil’s comments were made during an interview with French news television network France 24 whereby he called for the implementation of the required reforms to protect the country against the foreign interference and the financial and economic collapse.
