Nasrallah: Battle against Coronavirus is not appropriate moment to score points against each other or for revenge

Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said on Friday that the priority today in Lebanon and the world is to preserve the lives of the people and limiting the spread of the Coronavirus.

Nasrallah’s comments were made during a televised speech whereby he said that the battle against the virus is “not the appropriate moment to score points against each other or for revenge.”

He called on the government, the Parliament, LAF, security apparatuses, municipalities and the Lebanese people to shoulder their own responsibilities in this regard.

Nasrallah also urged anyone who thinks he has the Coronavirus to be honest and reveal it in order to preserve their own lives and the lives of others.

“The most important procedure to take to limit the virus spread is to stay home,” he added.

On another note, Nasrallah said that the Lebanese banks must help the government and the health sector at this particular time.
