Lebanese ministers, lawmakers donate salaries amid Coronavirus crisis
Lebanese ministers and lawmakers are donating their salaries in order to combat the Coronavirus that has swept the country.
 
Minister of Information Manal Abdel Samad said that she will donate her March salary for the national fund to fight Coronavirus.
 
In turn, Minister of the Displaced Ghada Chreim also said that she will donate her salary to governmental hospitals and their employees.
 
Meanwhile, MP Georges Okais donated half of his March salary for the Lebanese Red Cross.
 
This as MP Michel Daher donated 100 million Lebanese Liras as an effort to combat the virus.
 
Yesterday, MP Chamel Roukoz and MP Fadi Alameh and other lawmakers donated their salaries as a contribution to fight the virus.
