Protest in Tyre denouncing anti-Islam film
A protest was held on Sunday in the southern city of Tyre, denouncing the anti-Islam film, near the Martyrs’ monument in the city. Various civil society groups of the South’s municipalities, institutions and cultures associations participated in the protest.      

Protesters chanted slogans condemning the United States and Israel, and denouncing the insults that targeted the Prophet Mohammad.             

Several speeches were delivered on the occasion, stating that the film aims at creating sedition between Christians and Muslims and stressing the importance of unity, peace and coexistence.
