Sleiman follows up on case of hostages and cannabis crops destruction
Lebanese President Michel Sleiman followed up on the case of the cannabis crops destruction as well as the case of the Lebanese hostages in Syria with the committee in charge of the file.              

In this regard, Sleiman made several phone calls with ministers and security apparatus' leaders, stressing the need to form a joint security cell to conduct investigations, reveal the locations of the kidnapped and set up a plan to release them as well as arrest the kidnappers.        

Separately, Sleiman met with Foreign Minister Adnan Mansour and informed him of Lebanon's relations with a number of countries, and of the work of the Arab League regarding several issues, mainly on the international law proposal which prohibits and criminalizes the insult of religions figures.
