Wahhab to Sleiman: Why don't you ask the US embassy about its agents in Lebanon?

The leader of Arab Tawhid Party Wiam Wahhab criticized on Tuesday President Michel Sleiman without naming him, expressing surprise toward Sleiman's request for clarifications on the statement of an Iranian official.             

Addressing an Iranian university delegation, Wahhab asked the President without naming him: "Why doesn't he ask the US embassy about its agents in Lebanon and on the borders? Why did the American ambassador visit the northern border and the port of Beirut?"                

Wahhab noted that some countries are watching the borders between Lebanon and Syria through security apparatuses.              

"As if this official [Sleiman] wants to present documents which will not come to benefit him with anything, since he will be out of power before Syria's fall. He will not be able to take advantage of this issue no matter what he does," Wahhab said.                

The Supreme Commander of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards Mohammad Ali Jaafari spoke of the presence of members of the “Quds Legion” in Syria and Lebanon earlier this week.
