Hezbollah calls for demonstrations against "Innocence of Muslims" in Tyre
Tyre's residents responded to Hezbollah's calls and demonstrated against the anti-Muslim film in the city's streets on Wednesdat.

MP Nawaf Musawi, Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah Sheikh Naim Qassem, and Vice-Chairman of Hezbollah's Executive Council Sheikh Nabil Kaouk were among the crowds.

In the same context, more than 50 Scholars and Islamic leaders convened at Dar Al Fatwa in Sidon.

Sheikh Salim Sousan presided the meeting in which the repercussions of the Youtube film "Innocence of Muslims" were discussed.

After the meeting, Sheikh Sousan stressed that the current situation is not favorable for demonstrations as some may try to profit from the occasion, twisting the events to their favor.

Sousan added that each Imam responsible for a mosque in Saida can organize a sit-in inside of the premises of the site, emphasizing that a Christian-Muslim conflict is out of question.

The Sheikh also announced that a Christian-Muslim meeting will be held tomorrow Thursday, in which Saida's bishops and sheikhs will agree on mutual points of view.
