Loyalty to the Resistance commends LAF efforts to maintain civil peace

Lebanese Army Commander Jean Kahwaji met Friday with a delegation from the Loyalty to the Resistance bloc comprised of MPs Mohammad Raad and Nawwar Sahili

The delegation praised the army's efforts in preserving civil peace and combating organized crimes.

Kahwaji also met with MP Robert Fadel and Citizen Youssef Beshara, who was recently released following his abduction for ransom. The latter thanked Kahwaji for his concern in the kidnapping case and for returning the ransom which was found in the home of the abductors.

On Friday, The LAF intelligence bureau succeeded at arresting one of the involved persons in the kidnapping of citizen Youssef Beshara and returned the amount of $380,000 to his family as part of the $400,000 ransom paid for his release. For more on this story, click here.
