Mansour: Mikati’s meetings in NYC will tackle situation in Syria
Lebanese Minister of Foreign Affairs Adnan Mansour left to New York on Saturday morning to participate in the U.N. General Assembly meetings.

From Rafik Hariri International Airport, Mansour said that Prime Minister Najib Mikati is expected to meet with international and Arab officials in New York to discuss main issues in Lebanon and the region. Mansour stressed that, in addition to Lebanon’s bilateral relations with other countries, talks will revolve around the situation in Syria and the region.

Mansour reiterated Lebanon's self-distancing policy towards the events in Syria.
