Kanaan to LBCI: Aoun received security warnings during visit to Zahle

Member of Change and Reform bloc, MP Ibrahim Kanaan confirmed on Sunday that the convoy of MP Michel Aoun was a target for gunfire in Sidon, and that one of the cars was hit, noting that the investigation in the case began on Saturday night. He called on the media to deal with this incident seriously.

Kanaan told Nharkom Said that “MP Michel Aoun is among the few figures who are really targeted”, revealing that Aoun received security warnings to avoid some roads during his visit to Zahle.

In this context, Kanaan said that the Free Patriotic Movement and MP Michel Aoun are a need during this stage, because “the FPM is a power that exists in every region”.
