Houry: "In the name of Maura, we will get you whores"

MP Ammar Houry said on Monday that he, and MPs Hady Hbeish, Ahmad Fatfat, Nohad al-Mashnouq and Khaled Daher, received short threat messages on their cellphones from a Syrian number, noting that they informed the security apparatuses of this matter. He said that he received the first threat before the assassination of Brig. Gen. Wissam al-Hassan, which says: “In the name of Maura [Conelly], we swear that we will get you impure whores”.

In a statement to Nharkom Said, Houry noted that the second threat message they received came after Friday’s crime and states: “Congratulations, the countdown has begun, 1 out 10”.

On the other hand, Houry stressed that what is required is the resignation of PM Najib Mikati’s cabinet, declaring that attacking the Grand Serail is unacceptable.
