Association of Muslim Scholars urges calm in Tareeq Jdideh
 
On Monday the Association of Muslim Scholars held press conference, directing its words towards the LAF and the Tareeq Jdideh residents in light of recent clashes.

“We are going through tumultuous times due to policies carried out in our regions.”

The Association called for calm urging residents, men to withdraw from the streets and retreat arms, saying, “Our weapons should only be directed towards the “Israeli enemy.”

The Association requested that the LAF not to send tanks towards its residential neighborhoods and called for calmness in the streets
