Public Administrations to close on Islamic New Year and Independence Day
 
PM Najib Mikati issued on Saturday an administrative memorandum that calls for the closure of all public administrations, as well as public institutions and municipalities on the 1st of Muharam 1434 AH on the occasion of the Islamic New Year which falls on Thursday the 15th of November 2012.               
The memorandum also calls for the closure of Public Administrations on the 22nd of November on the occasion of the Independence Day.
