Qatar wins against Lebanon in determining football game [0-1]

Qatar won against Lebanon in a determining match that took place Wednesday afternoon in Doha. The fifth match in the final qualifications round for the world cup and the start of the second leg was sealed with a goal on the part of the Qatari team on the onset of the second half of the game.

Lebanon had already lost its home match against Qatar after a deadly defensive mistake that cost the Lebanese a 1-0 loss in Beirut. Today's loss completely weakens the position of the Lebanese team in qualifying for the FIFA football games.

The Lebanese team lost two chances at scoring a goal at the start of the first half by player Abbas Atwe but sustained control over the game, up until Qatar scored a goal against Lebanon on the commencement of the second half of the game.
