Son killed before his mother’s eyes in Ain Saadeh

Residents of Ain Saadeh awoke to the news of a horrendous crime that occurred Tuesday dawn after Iraqi national identified as Mazen N. (born 1989) attacked Iraqi Namara Z. inside her home.      

According to Namara, the attacker who happens to be her husband’s nephew tied her up to a chair and then killed her son before her eyes. He then kidnapped her other son and fled to an unknown destination.            

The killer's main motives are monetary, Namara claims.         

Security forces have launched investigations to reveal the circumstances behind the crime. An arrest warrant has also been issued for Mazen’s arrest.
