Jabal Mohsen residents hold sit-in, demand compensations

Jabal Mohsen residents held a sit-in on Thursday in protest of the delay in the payment of compensations following the latest security incidents which rocked Tripoli.    

The mayor of Jabal Mohsen told LBCI that their movement is peaceful, warning that if the state does not heed their call, there will be “great pain.”         

The mayor said that Mikati is completely absent. Addressing him, he said “You are a man of moderation; the displaced Syrians are no better than Lebanese citizens.”
