Maronite League: Bkerke is the Fort of Lebanon

The Executive Council of the Maronite League stressed on Saturday its support for the approach adopted by President Michel Sleiman and for the missions carried out by the Lebanese Army.                

On the other hand, the council refused any accusation targeting the Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai, whether it was on a political level or not; stressing that Bkerke is the fort of Lebanon which protect its existence as a country for freedom and humanity.
