REPORT: Torrential rains cause road catastrophes across Lebanon

The storm which is currently hitting Lebanon has caused severe damages to the agriculture and properties, as the streets turned into lakes.

Roads in the Bekaa flooded due to insufficient road drainage systems which were unable to cope with the torrential rains. Most of the streets turned into ponds and lakes, trapping cars and causing them to break down.

In the Chouf area, heavy rain turned agricultural lands into swamps while some roads were cut off for some time due to landslides and mud puddles.

In the town of Rachmaya, the Rachmaya River flooded on the nearby parks causing heavy material damage.
