Maronite Patriach Rai holds Christmas mass in Bkerke

Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai held on Tuesday the Christmas mass at the Patriarchal Edifice of Bkerke in the presence of the Lebanese President Michel Sleiman and the First Lady Wafaa Sleiman.

While delivering the homily, Rai called for dialogue under the chairmanship of President Sleiman in order to solve the major strategic conflicts, consolidate the stability of the Lebanese entity, and achieve democracy as well as economic stability.

Rai hoped that Apostolic Exhortation would be a map for all Christians and added: "the Lebanese people are expecting from officials solutions to the issue of divisions so they may face future entitlements without linking to external developments.
