Osama Saad tours Sidon’s Nazlet Saidoun

The Head of the Popular Nasserite Organization led by Osama Saad toured Sidon’s region of Nazlet Saidoun which recently witnessed tensions leaving one dead and two injured . He voiced his surprise at the campaign launched by political and religious figures he described as “skilled hunters”.

“Our main concern is not parliamentary elections but the city’s security,” he said.

Saad called on the residents of the south, eastern Sidon, and Iklim al Kharroub to intensify their visits to Sidon to refute all slanders.

A gunfire exchange erupted between between members of the Popular Nasserite Organization and Saraya al-Muqawamaon the backdrop of a bout instigated on New Year’s Eve between Mahmoud Bazaza [Saraya al-Muqawama] and Abou Rabih Masri [PNO] subsequently escalating by Thursday night. The violence led to the death of Mohammad Dirar, a partisan of Saraya al-Muqawama and left two injured (Ahmad and Mohammad Masriya).
