Suspect killed in gunfire exchange in Britel

Suspect Qassem Ahmad Tles was killed on Monday and his brother Mohammad was injured in gunfire exchange between Lebanese army troops and wanted persons in Britel.

Qassem was transferred to the Dar al-Amal University Hospital in Baalbek and his brother was arrested by LAF members.

In details, gunfire shots targeted a Lebanese Army unit whilst it was performing a raid in Britel to arrest wanted assailants.

LAF members responded to the source of gunfire, leaving Qassem for dead and injuring his brother Mohammad.
