Damascus freezes assets of Hariri, Saqr and Moqdad

The Syrian Finance Ministry decided implement the decision to freeze the assets and properties of former PM Saad Hariri, MP Okab Saqr and media coordinator of the Free Syrian Army Luay al-Moqdad.

The decision stipulates that the main reason of freezing the assets is the funding of terrorist acts in the region, according to the first paragraph of article IV of the Anti-Terrorism Act number 19, issued on 2012.
