Egyptian national arrested for selling cell phone to Awadah's kidnapper

The Guidance Directorate of the Lebanese Army Command declared on Friday that a LAF patrol arrested on the 27th of February the Egyptian national Mohammad al-Sayyed al-Fidawi who owns a store in Shayyah selling cellular lines. The owner of the store was arrested since he has sold a line to a suspect involved in the kidnapping of the young boy Mohammad Awadah, without a legal document revealing the identity of the buyer.

In this context, the LAF Command stressed that whoever commits such a violation can be subject to legal prosecution, since such infringements can endanger security and stability.
