REPORT: Cold weather would kill locusts

Sources reported that a plague of locusts, coming from Africa, was spread in some Lebanese areas, whereas others confirmed that there is merely a handful of locusts since they arrive almost dead due to the pesticide spraying that reduced their numbers.

It is worth noting that the Agriculture Ministry is working in cooperation with the Lebanese Army and the municipalities in order to find a solution to the problem.

This report will expose the causes leading the locusts to head to Lebanon, despite the cold weather which is not in their favor.
