In her monthly TV appearance via LBCI’s “Tarikh Yachhad”, Layla Abdel Latif unveiled a series of new predictions on the local and regional levels.                   

Lebanon:
                     

Cabinet and Elections:   
The elections will take place following efforts deployed by Speaker Nabih Barri, based on an amended version of the 1960s electoral law.                

Tammam Salam will succeed in forming a cabinet; Najib Mikati’s role does not end.                   

Bkerke:
                 
Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Beshara Boutros Rai to contribute to an agreement among Christian leaders; must watch his health.                              

Tourism:            
Arab tourists to return to Lebanon in the summer season, due to efforts of PM-designate Tammam Salam.                       

War and Assassinations:            
No civil war in Lebanon, tensions to ease in the North.                         

New assassinations to take place in Lebanon, International forces to be deployed at the northern borders with Syria.                           

Sleiman:                  
President Michel Sleiman should watch his health, will remain in office until the end of his mandate. A number of Roumieh inmates will be given amnesty during his rule.                                

Political Figures:            
Najib Mikati will gain popularity among Sunnis; will be Prime Minister once again.                                

Former Minister Elias Murr back to the spotlight, MP Michel Murr must watch his health.                            

Nasrallah:             
Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah to support national unity, reject conflicts and give up some of his “share” to reach agreement, another May 7 to take place.                                 

Jumblatt and Druze Officials:
               
Jumblatt will remain the “key to balance”, new positions to surprise Saudi Arabia and Syria.                                 
Wiam Wahhab to meet with Jumblatt and Arslan on one table.                             

Aoun:                
Tensions between MP Michel Aoun and Speaker Nabih Berri to ease.                          

Dispute to erupt between Aoun and Hezbollah but will not reach breaking point, settlement will satisfy Aoun’s conditions in the formation of the new cabinet.                                     

MP Michel Aoun to suffer from a certain illness.                              

Marada:              
Marada Movement to expand, reaching Zahle and Bekaa.                           

Qabbani:              
Major conflict to erupt in Dar al-Fatwa, may lead to the ousting of Mufti Qabbani.           

Samaha:              
Former Minister Michel Samaha’s health to deteriorate.                            

Hariri:                    
MP Sadd Hariri to return to Lebanon for a political role, but not any time soon, will make many initiatives.                                
Elections to be delayed for a short period.                               

Security:                
Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim will meet the requirements of the upcoming period, will fight terrorism across Lebanon.            

Parents should watch their children, protect them from kidnapping operations, especially in malls.                     
Media:       
Television to win over Rima Njeim.                

Tony Khalifeh to garner the success of several internationally renowned contracts            

Nishan Derharoutyounian to successfully launch a program in an internationally recognized television station.              

Lebanese fashion designers names Zuheir Mrad and Robert Abi Nader to shine internationally. Plastic surgeon Tony Nassar’s name to gain recognition.                 

Internationally:
              

Syria:
The month of May will bring positive changes to the Syrian situation. President Bachar Assad will not step down. All eyes to turn towards Latakia, foreign army to support Syrian army.                    

US:
Sharp drop in stocks and real estate prices in the US. Army to remain ready for combat.                

Egypt:
Egypt’s Coptic community sees massive exodus, security front to decline.

Egyptian Foreign Ministry to clash with US counterpart on the backdrop of “protecting freedoms”. Egyptian army back to the center, Morsi to open the path of negotiations to unify country’s ranks.                 
Yemen:
Yemen to see progress on the part of its economy.
