REPORT: Lebanese women at the European Parliament

Eleven Lebanese women, who are running for the 2013 Parliamentary elections in Lebanon, visited the European Parliament to discover the best means to get more involved in the political field in Lebanon.

This initiative was launched by the non-governmental organization “Women In Front”, with the support of the “European People's Party”, in an attempt to encourage Lebanese women to participate in the political decision-making process in Lebanon.

This report will shed light on the opportunity granted to the eleven Lebanese women by the European Parliament and the position of these women regarding the current political situation in Lebanon.
