REPORT: Israel responds to Kerry’s visit by expanding settlements in Jerusalem

The Israeli Minister of Construction and Housing Ori Orr decided to expand “Ma'ale Adumim”, one of the largest Israeli settlements in Jerusalem, as a first reply to US Secretary of State John Kerry, stressing that Israel will not give up on building settlements and that the Israeli settlements in Jerusalem’s suburbs will remain "out of any peaceful compromise".

This report will highlight the position of Netanyahu’s right-wing government against Kerry’s proposals, as well as the controversial project launched by this cabinet in response to Kerry’s visit.
