Israel and US will not halt Iran operations until objectives are met, Envoy says

Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, said Monday that Israel and the United States will not stop their operations against Iran until their objectives are achieved, vowing to do whatever is necessary to prevent Tehran from acquiring nuclear capabilities.

Speaking to reporters in New York, Danon said Iran is launching a “desperate attack” in response to what he described as decisive and precise U.S. and Israeli strikes.

He added that he believes freedom for the Iranian people “will come sooner rather than later.”
