Abboud inaugurates institute for safe driving

Caretaker Minister of Tourism Fadi Abboud inaugurated on Tuesday the first institute in Lebanon to promote safe driving in accordance to international rules and regulations. This, according to the minister will help raise awareness among the next generation especially in regards to road and traffic safety.

Abboud stressed that Lebanon's road and traffic standards are strongly repelling tourism in the country among other major problems.

A video depicting the aftermath a car crashing at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour was played during the launching ceremony as Abboud and other dignitaries spoke of the importance of implying safer road travel rules and raising awareness throughout Lebanon.
