Mikati: Israeli attacks lead to further tension

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned on Sunday the attack carried out by the Israeli air force against Syria, stressing that it confirms Israel’s terrorist intentions and comes within the continuous Israeli violations to the Lebanese sovereignty.

“The Lebanese government, which describes the Israeli acts as a form of policy based on violating international resolutions, considers that the Israeli practices lead to further tension and troubles targeting the peace process in the Middle East and the international and regional efforts deployed in order to reactivate it,” he said.
