13-year-old boy rapes 8-year-old girl on bus

Scotland police reported that a 13-year-old boy, whose name remained confidential for legal reasons, has been charged with raping an 8-year-old girl on a bus in Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire back in November 2012.

The police added that the incident was not publicized when it occurred and was immediately “wrapped up”, but the details emerged lately following a freedom of information request presented by “The Herald newspaper”, asking for details of all crimes recorded on buses in Scotland between 1 April 2012 and 31 March this year.

The report sent to the newspaper revealed that there were 1,356 cases recorded, including 22 sexual assaults and 29 racial offenses.
