Shatah to LBCI: The grad rockets incident a reaction to Nasrallah’s speech

The advisor to former PM Saad Hariri, Mohammad Shatah pointed out on Sunday that firing two rockets at Beirut’s southern suburb is “a dangerous criminal act which comes as a reaction to the speech delivered by Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah delivered on Saturday evening.”

In a statement to LBCI’s Nahrkom Said, Shatah said that Lebanon drowns in a national crisis which requires a major national cooperation, calling on all parties to work in order to ban the people from acquiring weapons.

Two rockets hit Beirut’s southern suburb on Sunday wounding several people, including Syrian nationals, a day after Hezbollah’s chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said his party would continue fighting in Syria until victory. One of the rockets landed in a car sales yard next to a busy road junction in the Chiyah neighborhood while the other hit an apartment several hundred meters away.

The rockets launchers were later found in the hills located between Bsaba and Aitat in Mount Lebanon.
