China to actively grow imports

China will actively increase its imports while keeping stable growth in exports, the country's trade minister said on Thursday.

Speaking at a trade conference in China's southeastern city of Xiamen, Minister Chen Deming said Beijing would also study ways to diversify the country's $3.2 trillion in foreign exchange reserves, and encourage firms to use the Yuan to invest overseas
