Hassan says Lebanon is no longer in containment phase, calls for adopting a protocol regarding Remdesivir
Caretaker Minister of Health Hamad Hassan called for adopting a protocol regarding the Remdesivir drug, adding that all samples that the ministry obtained were distrusted for free to all Lebanese regions as needed.

On another note, Hassan also called for flattening the curve of Coronavirus cases in order to meet the demands of the economic and touristic bodies calling for lifting the local lockdown.

“Lebanon is no longer in containment phase,” he added.

He also noted that he will send a letter to the Caretaker Ministry of Interior regarding the private hospitals which did not inaugurate Coronavirus departments.

Hassan concluded his comments by calling on those who came into contact with persons who tested Covid-19 positive to abide by the in-home quarantine.
