Caretaker Minister of Interior Mohamad Fahmi said on Saturday work “is being done day and night to reveal the circumstances behind the Kahaleh crime.”
Fahmi’s comments were made after visiting Maronite Patriarch Bechara Rai in Bkerke whereby he stressed that he can’t talk to media outlets about the results of Beirut blast probe because of the confidentiality of the investigations.
On another note, Fahmi said that he is not entitled to stop flights coming from the United Kingdom because of the new virus variant, adding that an expert committee should decide about this matter.
He also voiced hopes that the number of Coronavirus cases would remain stable “or else the country is heading towards another lockdown.”
